About the College
Sri Guru Ram Dass College of Nursing is a constituent college of the Sri Guru Ram Das University of Health Sciences (SGRDUHS). Named after the fourth Sikh Guru, the founder of Amritsar, the college is recognized as a center of excellence in nursing education in the North Zone. It came into existence as a School of Nursing in 2001 (with GNM course) and as a College of Nursing in 2004 (with B.Sc. Nursing course). It is part of the larger Sri Guru Ram Dass Charitable Hospital Trust complex, which provides extensive clinical training facilities, including a 920-bedded charitable hospital.
