About the College
The School of Nursing, Shaheed Babu Labh Singh, Civil Hospital, Jalandhar (often referred to as SBLS School of Nursing or Civil Hospital Nursing School) was originally started in 1952 to offer General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) training to fresh candidates. In 1982, it was converted into a promotional training school (ANM to GNM). Recently, the Government of Punjab decided to restart the school with the three-year GNM Diploma for fresh candidates. It aims to encourage female education and provide quality training in the nursing profession.
