About the College
The Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (IMHANS) is an autonomous institution under the Government of Kerala, situated on the campus of the Government Medical College, Kozhikode. It functions as a postgraduate training centre and a specialized mental health care provider. IMHANS was selected by the Government of India to develop into a Centre of Excellence in mental health and plays a leading role in community mental health services in Kerala. Its primary focus is on mental health care delivery, training, research, and policy development.
