- The College of Nursing at Naga Hospital Authority (NHAK) in Kohima is the state‑run nursing college associated with the main government hospital in Kohima.
- In 2025, the state’s health department upgraded the former “School of Nursing, NHAK” to a full “College of Nursing” — reflecting a shift from older nursing‑school diplomas to degree‑level nursing education.
- From academic session 2025–26 onward, the college will offer a B.Sc. Nursing (instead of the previous GNM) under a new admission process via the national entrance test for universities (CUET‑UG) as per official notification.
